An Elizabeth Gaskell Tea Party at Knutsford Heritage Centre

Saturday 14 November, 2015, 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm

A Tea Party to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the death of Elizabeth Gaskell on November 12th 1865

We will be serving tea and cakes at Knutsford Heritage Centre, in the town which Elizabeth knew and loved so well. It is the setting for two of her most famous and best-loved novels, Cranford  and Wives and Daughters as well as featuring in some of her other work. Once again Delia Corrie and Charles Foster will entertain us with readings.  We are delighted to announce that Elizabeth’s great-great-great-grandaughter, Sarah Prince will be coming to the tea party! Do join us.

Tickets £8  will be available shortly from Knutsford Heritage Centre
