Description
This book carries a comprehensive index of authors, subjects and book reviews from the first thirty Gaskell Journals, published between 1987 and 2017 (volumes 1-30). It’s an essential companion to the Journal and a valuable aid to Gaskell studies.
The Gaskell Journal is a peer-reviewed scholarly publication dedicated to disseminating the most authoritative, dynamic and agenda-setting research in Gaskell Studies. Published annually, it is distributed to academic libraries across the UK, US, Canada, Australia and Japan; and also given free of charge to the 600 members of the Gaskell Society.
The Journal itelf is available, full-text, from Volume 20 (2006) onward in libraries which subscribe to the Literature Online package through ProQuest.
Volumes 1-19 are available through libraries that subscribe to ProQuest’s separate database Periodicals Archive Online.
Additionally, Volumes 1 through to two years ago are available full-text online in JSTOR’s Lives of Literature. This database can be accessed through subscribing libraries, as well as by individual researchers (see https://about.jstor.org/get-jstor/ for individual access details).
For printed back copies of the Journal, contact Elizabeth Williams, who has a number of volumes for sale.
