Leaflet / flier ideas

Anthony intended these for local history societies. His and Diane’s originals are included here – I can change wording to Anthony’s (I had misunderstood and compromised on / shortened his wording because I thought it was a poster for more general use. I will do a poster with much less on it, for more casual observers, not just historians.

Photos from Robert Poole

“I attach the photo from Carlyle’s house and a couple taken in the garden. I’ve already e-mailed it to a couple of people who will see that it gets to Marjorie and to Christine Lingard.  Sheila Lemoine in the other photo is not only a member of the society but also a descendant (she believes) of John Barnish, who was at Peterloo and whose account of it is reported by a neighbour in Rochdale who heard it from him. She unveiled the red Peterloo plaque on the Free Trade Hall in about 2007 and is still in good health, age 101, in a comfortable care home in Davenport.”
