A Passport to freedom: Women Travellers in the 19th Century
We’re delighted to announce that our next conference, on the theme of Travel, will take place between 5 and 8 July 2024 at the Sketchley Grange Hotel & Spa, a 4-star country house hotel on the borders of Leicestershire and Warwickshire.
We’ve gathering together an exciting and diverse array of speakers and we’re lining up a number of different literary options for excursions. We hope these will include Lichfield and the houses of Dr Johnson and Erasmus Darwin, and Nuneaton, birthplace of George Eliot.
